Would You Ask a Straight Person That?

In this episode of The Lipsticks Podcast, the girls have got something to get off their chests. We discuss our experiences of strangers asking inappropriate personal questions and about our relationships, sex lives (eek!) and general gayness.

The hot topic up for debate this week is LGBTQ+ inclusive sex education being taught in schools. Following the news in recent months, the department for education said that they wanted to support all young people to be happy, healthy and sex when it comes to sex!

Our Gay Glossary gets a new edition, so stick around to find out which ridiculous gay made-up word makes the cut this week. We also shine our big ole gay spotlight on a queer artist this week, who creates unique art focused on queer relationships and POC. We LOVE to see it.

So, my name is Sarah and I am one of the co-hosts of this podcast! I also co host another podcast, called SEO SAS - for anyone who enjoys SEO?

Anyway, I would identify myself as a lesbian and I suppose would say I was late to the 'gay game' - so to speak. I didn't realise I was gay until I was around 23, wasted time at Uni I know!

I enjoy discussing all things LGBTQ+ and just chatting in general to be honest. Apart from that I enjoy all the normal things like coffee, gin, travel, live music, going on walks... sounding like my Tinder profile, so I am gonna stop!
